   don’t order by the slice - it seems like they give you old pizza when you do. It’s really good though, if you order a whole pizza. Maybe that’s teh point.

   Pizza has changed dramatically lately. The crust and topping are totally different. Used to be in my top 3 and they used to have a very light “New York” style crust. Now it tastes like run of the mill Sam and Louie’s rubber crust from a mix.

   I have eaten at the new LaVista store now on 3 occassions and although the food is very good when it gets to you in time to still be warm the service by far ranks the worst I’ve experienced. Not being a big service floor, having 3 wait staff taking care of customers should NOT result in 20-30 minute intervals between an emplyee stopping by the table and food should not take 40-45 minutes from the time it is ordered. The servicing is VERY lacking in simple systems to ensure the customers get fast and frequent service. Again, Food is very good when it is served warm. Must be, I keep going back with my 5-6 friends despite the service.

   The pizza is very good…it has a unique flavor, the toppings are pleasant. Fun place to have a beer as well. As a whole the food is very good. I agree with Ken on the service side though. It does take quite awhile and is a bit lackluster. Other than the owner guy nobody seems to have any energy either. Every time I go there it seems like they are all at the end of a 72 hr shift. Food is fantastic though.

   We went on a Monday during lunch. I must say I was not impressed. The pizza was on a buffet and was burnt and very small. Almost as if they wanted to save money so they made pizza that was smaller than normal. I went with co-workers and they felt the same way. 1 STAR (OUT OF 5)

   I love all the food. Pizza is great. Wings are awesome. Drinks are cheap and there is always a spwcial going on. What’s not to Love? Wait staff is friendly and courtious. It’s the best in town!

   Terrible, Terrible, Terrible. Wings were decent, but service and management have still not replied to several email i sent them about an issue over thanksgiving. Im doing my best to make sure there is a for lease sign on everyone of their doors.

    Very accomodating, a little on the… greasy side of pizza but they are great for groups and their drink specials can’t be beat. Their tv’s are especially nice. Great place to take the team after the big game, or to watch the big game on tv.

    Pizza was okay, but don’t get the sausage though, it’s not true Italian sausage. True Italian sausage with it’s own blend of spices will add the extra zip to a pizza. I can’t really blame them though, it is difficult and more expensive to find real Italian sausage in Omaha. I suggest sticking to Pepperoni when ordering from this pizza place.

    WOW I would agree on the service part of your comments, but the pizza on the other had is the BEST in Omaha! The wings are the BEST in town too! Ask for the private reserve sauce if you like really hot! My favorite is Private Reserve Jamican Jerk wings Baked!

    This is one is a mixed bag. I have been here a couple of times while I lived down the street from it, and it was good. If all I was interested in was the taste of the pizza, this place would have easily made it into my top 5. The prices are what keep me away, though. I won’t pay $17 plus tax for an large 1-topping pizza. Seriously, an 18″ pizza is $14.95 plus $1.95 per topping. I take this as their way of pressuring people into buying their gourmet pizzas, which you would generally pay $18.95 for, but at least they generally have multiple toppings. I’d have to say that this is a place to try just to have tried it, but I wouldn’t make a habit of eating here.
