Pudgy’s is the best pizza in the area. The cheese is fantastic, the real deal and owner is always there greeting and talking to everyone!

Pudgy’s Pizza is… hands down… the best pizza in Omaha! My hubby is from Chicago and doesn’t care much for any of the local options… except Pudgy’s. Even our 3 picky kids get excited about Pudgy’s Pizza! The owners are warm and friendly and always make us feel welcome - even though my hubby is a Cubs fan.

I have had Pudgy’s pizza the last two Friday’s in a row. First we ordered a gluten free supreme. It was grear. Much better than Pizza Hut’s gluten free pizza. This Friday we ordered a gluten free peporoni and mushroom pizza. It was cold and dry. I have celiac disease. I swear they roll their pizza dough in flour. You can taste it and feel it. I have been sick both times I have ate the pizza.

First time I had the pizza from Pudgy’s a year ago I thought it was ok, it was mainly due to the crust. Then about two months ago I went back, and they noticeably improved the quality of their pizza dough. It is a bit far from where I live, but it is worth making the trip once a month.

I am from out of town and get a few Gluten Free Pizzas every time I am in the area. The Gluten Free Pizza is by far the best Gluten Free Pizza I have ever tasted, and I have tasted a lot of them. Great price, great size. I thought it was a regular hand tossed style pizza it was sooooo good.

I only went there once for a pepperoni with onions pizza. The pepperoni and sauce wasn’t that great. Nothing special about the cheese either. Sorry, I don’t think this pizza really compares to Chicago pizza like Giordano’s and Lou’s.

I live in the neighborhood and go to Pudgy`s maybe once every couple weeks. The service there is excellent. Pudgy is always there and out front and always recognizes locals and is a pleasure to be around. Great pizza, execellent atmosphere!

As a former Northside from Chicago and a lover of Chicago pizza, I would say this is as close to Chicago that you will get. Pudgy’s pizza is very good!
PS: In case you were unaware Pudgy’s also has GLUTEN FREE pizza at no price increase!

The pizza was great, it took a little time but it was worth it. We heard it was going to be super busy but it wasn’t busy at all. My wife and I split the 12 inch pizza and couldn’t eat the whole thing. I also love this site, go C go!!! PizzaOmaha.com rocks!
