Have you tried the $5 Hot-N-Ready at Little Caesars?

I have tried it and I firmly believe the $5 instant pizza hurts the DiGiorno (Kraft) and Freschetta (Schwan) value proposition.  I must say, I am a huge fan of the restaurant style grocery pizza that both DiGiorno and Freschetta offer.  It is really pretty good and even great when nothing else is open in the middle of the night.  But for the most part, it does not compare to the similarly priced and instantly ready Hot-N-Ready pizza at Little Ceasers…so long as you get a fresh pizza.

The bad news for DiGiorno and Freschetta is that it looks like Domino’s has initiated a similar offer.  I recently tried to pick up one of these quick ready pizzas and was sad to find out that the Domino’s offer is only during lunch hours…grrrr.

Either way, I would like to hear about your experiences with the Hot-N-Ready.  I would especially like to know if you prefer the Hot-N-Ready versus the  available restaurant style grocery pizzas.
